Ludington Beach House, Beachside

The rooms are big and comfortable. The refrigerator in the room was bigger than what other hotel rooms provide which was perfect for me. I stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every bit of it as it was quiet and peaceful. Everyone was very nice. It's in the perfect location and everything is in walking distance, from the beach, restaurants, stores, and community events. I'll definately be going back again.

One of the best values we have ever had while traveling. Rooms were clean, updated, and spacious. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it worked well for us. Motel is directly across the road from skatepark and beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants downtown while also being on M116 heading out for fishing, golf, etc. This is family owned by folks that take great pride in their facility. It shows.

We are having a wonderful stay at the Ludington Beach House! The home is comfortable, clean, and perfect for our trip. What really stood out, though, was the incredible service. The owner himself got back to us after hours and went out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. That kind of care and attention is making our stay absolutely amazing. Thank you very much—we can’t wait to come back!

The Ludington Beach House is an updated classic motel vibe in an awesome beachside location. The staff is nice and attentive, but largely behind the scenes. The suite we stayed in was #23 and I will definitely book this unit next time. Thank you for keeping the vintage motel feel to share the motor lodge experience with our kids.

I arrived from Manitowoc via the SS Badger at 7pm. I immediately caught up with some Ludington friends leading to a very late check in. Despite the late arrival to the Beachhouse, the AC was turned on and the room very clean and comfortable. The room came with many amenities such as a large, flat-screen TV, microwave, coffee pot, a good-size refrigerator / freezer, and nice beach-themed decor. The bathroom was somewhat small, but very clean and very good water pressure. And the bath towels were adult sized, super soft, and wonderfully absorbent.

We stayed here in August 2025 and the rooms were clean and spacious. The location is perfect; right next to the beach and a beach park. The pool was warm and clean, but the service was fantastic! All the staff were friendly and genuinely wanted us to have a great stay. We will be back!

We stayed here at the end of September the night before going on the badger. The place was very quiet with few occupants. I would guess it's very busy in the summer. It's a great location right across the street from the beach. The room we stayed in was essentially a double room. It had two bathrooms. The place was clean and in great shape. It's an older motel but a great value. I highly recommend it.

Had a great one night stay after traveling on the SS Badger. The room had plenty of space to spread out, was cute and very clean. Right across the street from a park and Lake Michigan. Lovely to here the waves lapping against the shore in the early morning. Would definitely stay again!
